It's not always easy to rank no. 1 on search engines especially on that of Google. It took me approximately 2 years to get one of my website rank number 1 on search engine. However, there were certain tips that I employed and they worked so well for me. If I had known since, I would have made a lot of money online. But thank God, I have now!

Simple Ways to rank High on Google search engine:

1. Optimize your Meta tags. These tags are located on the head section of your website. This is where search robots visit each time they are crawling web pages for indexing. If your website is poorly optimized, search engine robots will not pick your website as a good option. While designing your pages, if you're the webmaster, do research on what users search for everyday on search engine. Visit google.

com/trend/hottrends and see what people have been searching for. Use those keywords on your Meta keyword area. Also, check the websites that appear on the top on your result, view the source, copy the description and use it on your website.

2. Submit Keyword-rich articles. You might not be good in organic search engine optimization. The next alternative is to write articles that have quality keywords on it. These keywords will enhance your articles page rank and make it search engine friendly. 

Publishing articles on top directories will increase your back links and drive targeted traffic to your website on a daily basis. Remember, articles are never deleted and as long as they are there, you will always get traffic. Search engine robots are always visiting article directories for new contents. When your articles are keyword-rich, then you will appear number 1 on search engines.

3. Use Google Local Businesses. Google has a lot of tools to promote your business aside their adwords. When you use local business services offered by Google, you will automatically rank no. 1 each time a business is searched for on a particular area. Let's say you have a business in Los Angeles USA. Now to rank high on that city in Google Search engine, simply submit your business to Los Angeles Local Business on Google Maps and Click ok. Within 2 weeks, your website must have ranked very high when the keywords are searched for.

4. Use Press Release Distribution. The best ways current news appears on search engines is through press release distribution. There are paid and free ones. For now, start with the free in order to see how useful it can be. A release is different from an article. When you visit any press release site, click on "How to writes release." I love press release so much because the result is always instantaneous. Within 3 days, your release must have ranked high on search engine as well as your website link.
